I was born in Nevada, raised in Lake Tahoe and attended the University of Nevada - Reno before transferring to University of Utah in 1981. I received a degree in psychology but returned for a degree in advertising and marketing. I interned at the Kimball Art Center which then lead to a job at Park City’s first ad agency, Dering and Associates. I met my husband a couple of years later when he was managing the Silver King Bank - one of only two banks in Park City at that time. We have two children, Blake and Tucker, ages 24 and 20. In addition to raising a family I have worked as a free-lance graphic artist, volunteered in the schools, worked at Park City Mountain Resort, serve as an ambassador for Mountain Trails Foundation, and am a snowshoe guide for a local tour company. We have been in Park City for 36 years and are grateful for everything that is at our fingertips… skiing, hiking, biking, camping, exploring our beautiful mountain as well as all of our local events like concerts, festivals, fundraisers, etc. Park City has been a wonderful place to raise our family and has given us so many great opportunities. I feel incredibly fortunate to be a part of such an awesome community.

My family will tell you my favorite form of entertainment is going to the movies. I love relaxing in a dark theater and being transported to a different time and place, being moved to tears, sitting at the edge of my seat in suspense or enjoying a huge laugh. More then anything, I love a film that leaves me thinking about it hours or days after.
